Christmas Cakes

Either way, Tara’s legendary cakes return for another year. With a recipe honed over the last 30 years, each of these cakes is handmade with love and contains a special mixture of ingredients that guarantee you’ll never bite into a dry old piece of regular cake again.

Any slight imperfections are made especially for you.


Process

 

Cakes can take anywhere up to 4 months to make - with 1-2 weeks for the fruit to steep in the essences to the 1-2 month “feeding” process - they’ve been around for a while before you even bite into it.

Combined with the fact that it contains the very best ingredients, and lots of butter and sugar, like true love, it’s just one of those things that is worth waiting for.


Ingredients:

fruit mix, peel, cherries, eggs, butter (lots of it), alcohol, essences, coffee, orange juice, flour and brown sugar.

You can request to have alcohol-free, cherry-free, peel-free and gluten-free cakes too - just let me know if you have specific dietary requirements or maybe you are just a fussy Christmas Cake eater - send me a message and I will do my best to accommodate.
